Get ready for a whole week of amazing events!

Whoosh! The South Ken Kids Festival wind is blowing in London with a blizzard of events to choose from! From Monday 17 to Sunday 23 November, a score of children’s book artists will take over the Institut français and London-based schools for a week of family fun, with workshops, drawing duos, films, live music, and more.

Join us for a unique opportunity to meet celebrated artists: Alex Barrow, Clémentine Beauvais, Benjamin Chaud, Benji Davies, Gabby Dawnay, Agnès Desarthe, Jean-François Dumont, Anne Fine, Bruno Gazzotti, Mini Grey, Aurélie Guillerey, Yasmeen Ismail, Judith Kerr, Satoshi Kitamura, Daniel Maja, Delphine Perret, Michael Rosen, Axel Scheffler, Fabien Vehlmann – not to forget the one and only Quentin Blake, our festival’s patron! And stay tuned for this year’s highlight Impro!, our live drawing and music improvisation event starring top-notch pianist Andy Emler.

I was lucky enough to be involved in our festival right from the start. I have seen its celebration of writing and reading and drawing grow – it becomes more and more amazing!

The South Ken Kids is one of my favourite literary events and I always find it inspiring both to attend and to take part in
