Gilles Aufray

Gilles Aufray is a writer and sometimes director. He mostly writes theater plays, in both French and English, and at times short stories and tales. After studying at Les Beaux-Arts, he left for England where he met Simon McBurney, Marcello Magni and Jos Houben, with whom he wrote Burning Ambition, a movie commissioned by the BBC. His plays have been directed and/or enacted by many well known artists (Christian Caro, Magali Montoya, Anne-Laure Liégeois…).
