Michaël Escoffier

Bibliothèque Quentin Blake’s special guest for this year, Michaël Escoffier discovered a passion for writing for little ones early on in life and quickly became a prolific author as in only ten years he has written more than 50 picture books! He has collaborated with illustrators Kris Di Giacomo and Matthieu Maudet. Escoffier’s work is often educational: Take Away the A is a creative take on alphabet-books; and Brief Thief asks questions about fairness and morality, tapping into children’s desire to learn and think.
