Sam Usher

Sam Usher is an English illustrator who lives in London. His debut Can You See Sassoon? was shortlisted for the Waterstones Prize. Major influences include Hergé, Sempé, and Quentin Blake. Usher won the Red House Children’s Book prize, which is attributed by children themselves, twice. His fluid drawings are informed by the discipline and rhythmic proficiency that his other passion, playing the piano, demands.
