FAQ
Can I buy books during the festival?
Yes! There will be book sellers (La Page & Tales on Moon Lane) with stands at the Institut français. They will be selling books by all the authors present at the Festival and much more, in both French and English (when available). All the authors will be happy to sign their books!
Will the events be in French or in English?
Most events will be in English, and if the authors do not speak English, there will be a translator.
Can parents attend workshops with their children?
No, your child will be taken to and from the festival meeting point by two dedicated volunteers. Parents are welcome to attend Drawing Duos and meet-the-author events, but workshops are for children only.
Will there be food and drinks for sale?
Yes, food and drinks will be available for sale during the festival from the Bistrot, our on-site café!
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Events will mostly take place on the first floor, but there is an elevator for wheelchairs and people with limited mobility.
Does the Institut français have a parking lot?
No, there is only street parking. Why not take the bus (14, 49, 70, 74, 345, 360, 414, 430, C1) or the Tube (South Kensington, Piccadilly and District lines)?
Can I bring my pet?
No, we’re very sorry. Pets are not allowed in the Institut français.
