Voted best event of the South Ken Kids Festival for years, Impro! gathers guest illustrators Axel Scheffler, Magali Le Huche, Yuval Zommer, Marion Puech and more on stage for a wild, joyful and jazzy musical live creation to the sound of Tom Sochas on the piano and Thodoris Ziarkas on the double bass. It’s pure improv but with some of the greatest British, French and European talent in their field!

Opening Event: Fantastic Birds by Trio Arcadis and Grégoire Pont

Come to the opening event of the South Ken Kids Festival 2023!

Violinist Amandine Ley and cellist Nicolas Saint-Yves and pianist David Violi from the Trio Arcadis are joined by illustrator Grégoire Pont for a unique illustrated concert. Together, they invite you to embark on a musical journey with live animated illustrations. This programme full of creativity features Ravel’s Trio in a-minor, op.50 and Rebinding of the birds, a new work written especially for the occasion by composer Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber.
