The South Ken Kids Festival reaches out across London and beyond! Last year we worked with more than 30 schools from nurseries to secondary schools. Our selection of events specially tailored for pupils includes meeting the authors, workshops, poetry, films, music and theatre: in French, English or bilingual! Whether you’d like to welcome an artist to your school or bring your class to one an event at the Institut français, we have the right option for you!

In order to give children unforgettable experiences of the world of book-making, story-writing and illustration, we offer a wide range of events. This year, we are:

• Bringing renowned artists into classrooms for special workshops.

• Hosting specially tailored events for schools at the Institut français (plays, talks, free film screenings and meet the author events.)

• Organising a nationwide picture book competition with a chance to win amazing prizes.

• Holding a multilingual poetry slam for schools to take part in.

The full school programme is available here: Primary Schools / Secondary Schools
